How Aether handles your information

Inectio Limited operates Aether to transfer files between Inectio and its clients.

What we process: The files you send, their names, sizes and checksums; the email addresses Inectio assigns to uploaders and recipients; and service records of verification, delivery and deletion events. Limited network addresses are kept for security.
Why: To deliver files to the recipients Inectio approved, protect them in transit and at rest, prevent abuse, and keep a record of each handover.
Who can access files: The named recipients, after verifying their email. Aether's automated checking and delivery services. Inectio staff only with an explicit permission, and every such access is recorded.
How long: Upload invitations last 72 hours by default; recipient access lasts 7 days by default. Files are deleted from active storage within 24 hours after access closes; encrypted backups expire within 35 days. Minimal handover records are kept for up to 12 months.
Not used for: Advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or AI and public malware analysis services.
